First Look Footage for APPLE TV+’s SEVERANCE Season 2, Silo Season 2, BAD MONKEY, THE INSTIGATORS, and More — GeekTyrant

Severance stars Adam Scott as a team leader at the super-secret company Lumon, where employees are voluntarily severed from their personal lives. When they enter the elevator to start their day, their minds are switched over to their work selves, who know nothing of what goes on outside, and vice versa.

It also stars Patricia Arquette, John Tuturro, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus and Christopher Walken. Severance was created by Dan Erickson, and is directed by Ben Stiller.

Silo is based on Howey’s trilogy of dystopian novels, and it tells the story of the “last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences.”

After its sheriff breaks a cardinal rule and residents die mysteriously, engineer Juliette, who is played by Rebecca Ferguson, “seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will. She starts to uncover shocking secrets and the truth about the silo.”

Slow Horses follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House. Gary Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, “the brilliant but irascible leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes as they frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world.”

Shrinking centers on a “grieving therapist who starts to break the rules by telling his clients exactly what he thinks. Jimmy has lost his wife and wants to try a new approach to his loss, but it is unclear how this will help others.”

Harrison Ford plays a senior therapist in the series named Paul, who suffers from Parkinson’s Disease and finds himself dealing with the issues that Jimmy (Jason Segel) finds himself going through.

Lady in the Lake is set in 1960s Baltimore, “where an unsolved murder pushes housewife and mother, Maddie Schwartz, played by Natalie Portman, to reinvent her life as an investigative journalist and sets her on a collision course with Cleo Sherwood, played by Lupita Nyong’o, a hard-working woman juggling motherhood, many jobs and a passionate commitment to advancing Baltimore’s Black progressive agenda.”

The Instigators follows two thieves who must go on the run with the help of one of their therapists after a robbery goes awry. It comes from Doug Liman and stars Matt Damon and Casey Affleck.

Bad Monkey is based on Carl Hiaasen’s bestselling novel of the same name, and it tells the story of Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn) who has been bounced from the Miami Police department and is now a health inspector in the Keys.

But after stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realizes that if he can prove murder, he’ll be back in. He just needs to get past a trove of Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey.
