New photos released this week provide a first look inside the most expensive condo currently for sale in Brooklyn. On the market for $19,500,000, Penthouse B takes up the entire 32nd floor of Olympia Dumbo, a new 33-story luxury development at 30 Front Street with a sail-inspired design. The residence, which first hit the market in 2022, measures nearly 5,000 square feet and boasts viral-worthy 360-degree views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan skyline, and beyond.

Upon entering via private elevator landing, a formal foyer and gallery lead to the living and dining areas, which overlook the stunning scenery through floor-to-ceiling windows. Designed by Interior Marketing Group, the condo has five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, and a 552-square-foot private terrace. Architectural Digest had the exclusive.

Designed by Workstead, the sunny kitchen is separated from the main living and dining areas, an uncommon setup in new development condos. There’s also a huge island inlaid with a Fior di Bosco stone slab, ranked maple cabinetry with satin nickel hardware, and Gaggenau appliances.

In an adjacent hallway, there’s a linen closet, laundry room, and powder room.

Olympia is represented by Jessica Peters and Carl A. Ekroth of the Jessica Peters Team at Douglas Elliman, Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of The Eklund | Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman, and Karen Heyman and Casey Heyman of The Heyman Team at Sotheby’s International Realty.

“With breathtaking panoramic views that stretch from harbor to skyline, meticulously curated design, and unparalleled privacy, this penthouse redefines what it means to live in Brooklyn,” John Gomes, said.

“Perched at the pinnacle of DUMBO at the highest point in the neighborhood, with exclusive access to the most exciting amenities in a luxury residential building, it’s not just a home—it’s a lifestyle, and it’s simply the best in the borough.”

At the heart of the apartment is the sprawling primary suite, which faces the Manhattan Bridge and includes an indulgent bathroom with seven fixtures. There are two walk-in closets, dual showers, and a freestanding soaking tub.

All additional bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms, which feature mosaic flooring and under-mount tubs. Right off the foyer is a private corner study.

Measuring a bit over 500 square feet, the private terrace boasts one of the best penthouse views in the borough, with a birdseye view of the Brooklyn Bridge.

Developed by Fortis Property Group and designed by Hill West Architects, Olympia Dumbo contains 76 residences ranging from one- to five-bedroom apartments. At 33 stories tall, the building, which launched sales in 2021 and won 6sqft’s Building of the Year in 2022, is Dumbo’s tallest tower.

As it rises, Olympia Dumbo’s mass recedes, allowing for no more than six units per floor and a pair of full-floor penthouses at the top of the building. Residences, designed by Workstead, feature ceiling heights up to 18 feet tall, wide plank flooring, and picture-perfect views. Many of the units also have private terraces and outdoor spaces.

Amenities stretch across three levels of both indoor and outdoor spaces. Residents can enjoy a private garden lounge, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a spin studio, a boxing gym, and private locker rooms on the ground floor. On the lower level, there is a bowling alley, bar, game lounge, and kid’s playroom. The 10th floor is home to a 60-foot indoor lap pool, juice bar, an outdoor pool, a children’s playground and “waterpark,” and an outdoor private tennis court that overlooks the Brooklyn Bridge.

In January 2023, the building set a new sales record for Dumbo when a penthouse sold for $17,500,000.

The record for Brooklyn’s priciest property sale belongs to the Brooklyn Heights townhouse at 8 Montague Terrace which sold for $25.5 million in 2021, followed by a $22.1 million townhouse at 1 Sidney Place, which found a buyer in July.
