Netflix has released a trailer for the second season of the action thriller series The Night Agent. I enjoyed the first season of this show, and it looks like this next chapter of the story is going to be a great and intense new chapter of the story.
Gabriel Basso is back in action as FBI agent Peter Sutherland. After Peter saved the president in Season 1, he’s promoted by the secret organization Night Action to become a Night Agent.
“Peter is now on the hunt for a mole in the CIA who is leaking top U.S. secrets after he’s betrayed on a mission. He goes rogue to find the leaker and worries that Night Action may be compromised.
“As his search continues, the mole is selling the top secret information to the highest bidder and gathering enough resources to build a big enough bomb to blow up Manhattan.”
The rest of the cast includes Luciane Buchanan, Amanda Warren, Arienne Mandi, Louis Herthum, Berto Colon, Michael Malarkey, Keon Alexander, Brittany Snow, Teddy Sears, Navid Negahban, and Rob Heaps.
The series was developed by Shawn Ryan, who serves as showrunner. The movie is set to be released on January 23rd.
