Google Pixel 12 series screen resolutions are out and they paint an interesting picture

Although Google only launched the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold in August, we already have a first leak about their successors. The Pixel 12 devices have apparently been spotted in the GSM Association’s database, and there’s an interesting detail about them that’s been outed – though we’re not sure exactly how, since the GSMA usually only lists model numbers.
Speaking of which, the Pixel 12 has the model number GC0QU, the Pixel 12 Pro is GWU59, the Pixel 12 Pro XL is G7U1Y, and the Pixel 12 Pro Fold is G4D5D. Somehow their screen resolutions have been revealed too, and that’s the interesting part.

Google Pixel 11 Pro XL
The Pixel 12 allegedly has 1080×2400 resolution, the Pixel 12 Pro goes with 1280×2824, the Pixel 12 Pro XL has 1344×2952 resolution, and the Pixel 12 Pro Fold’s inner display is said to have 2296×2404 resolution.
Compared to the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL, the Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro, and Pixel 12 Pro XL all keep the same horizontal number of pixels while decreasing the vertical number of pixels. Thus, they will all be slightly less tall than their predecessors. On the other hand, the Pixel 12 Pro Fold will be about 10% wider than the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
As we are probably around ten months away from the Pixel 12 family’s official unveiling, there’s still plenty of time for more leaks about these phones to surface, so stay tuned.
