Heinz Reveals Gravy Inspired By Thanksgiving Leftovers

Heinz doesn’t want your Thanksgiving leftovers to be stuck in second gear.
Or in this case, sauceless. Ahead of the holiday, the brand released a new condiment called Leftover Gravy on Nov. 18, which was inspired by that memorable food item from Friends.
While Heinz is known for their gravy jars, this new product—which is made of their signature turkey broth—comes in a squeezable bottle to help fans recreate the show’s Moist Maker meal. Indeed, in Friends’ 1998 episode “The One with Ross’s Sandwich,” Monica (played by Courteney Cox) made Ross (David Schwimmer) a sandwich filled with leftovers, including dousing the bread in rich gravy.
And if viewers needed a reminder of the loaded, yet soggy creation, Heinz added an updated photo of the sandwich on the bottle’s cover. The brand also kept those who need an in-depth tutorial to make the meal in mind. In their Nov. 18 Instagram post, they added several layers of turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce between three slices of bread.
