Spider-Man: Brand New Day looks like a major turning point. It’s pulling from deep comic lore, mixing in grounded street threats, and layering it all with a personal story that feels heavier than anything we’ve seen from this version of Peter Parker.
Between the mutation storyline, the introduction of Jean Grey, Punisher’s arrival, and the mystery surrounding MJ, this movie is juggling a lot, but in a way that feels intentional.
