A woman named Carlina had reason to be especially thankful after Thanksgiving by winning about $617K at California’s Eagle Mountain Casino.
The $617,150.11 payout for the Central Valley resident is the largest so far this year at the Porterville tribal gaming property, the casino announced on Tuesday.
The win was on a Dollar Storm slot machine. It’s made by Aristocrat Gaming.
Thanksgiving Payout in Texas
A visitor to Texas’ Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass also had extra reason to be thankful on Thanksgiving.
The Corpus Christi man hit $691,289.48. He was playing a Frankenstein slot machine.

Luck for New Orleans Casino Visitor
A woman at Caesars New Orleans got a jackpot of about $150K on November 26.
Identified as Ms. DeShawn, she originally resided in New Orleans and now lives in Alaska, but stopped at the casino while returning to her native city around the holiday.
