The Brooklyn Bar Association held its annual induction ceremony on Tuesday to welcome its newly elected officers and trustees.

The event was held at the association’s headquarters, located at 123 Remsen St. in Brooklyn Heights. Arthur Aidala served as master of ceremonies, as the evening affair featured remarks by former presidents and the induction of the officers and trustees. Kings County Clerk Nancy Sunshine administered the oath to members.

Dan Antonelli, managing partner of Antonelli & Antonelli, was installed as the association’s new president. Speakers welcomed him to his new post and acknowledged his skills, achievements, and expertise in the legal community.

“I can tell you that he is someone who is extraordinarily dedicated and has an unbelievable work ethic. When I co-chaired the technology committee with him, he consistently impressed me. He was willing to take on any task, anything that was asked of him, if it improved the Brooklyn Bar Association, because he was very devoted to this group of people.”

After he was sworn in, the new president shared remarks with the audience, thanking his family, colleagues and others in the legal community for his success.

“There are so many people at the Brooklyn Bar Association who have been so wonderful and who have helped me so much along the way,” Antonelli said.

Class of 2029 trustees include Imran Ansari, Ronald Cosme, Jr., M. Frank Francis, Christina Fratangelo, Regina Kiperman and Joseph Vasile. The new officers are Angelicque Moreno, Bruno, Codispoti, Grace Borrino, Pauline Yeung-Ha and Doron Leiby.

The Brooklyn Bar Association, founded over 150 years ago, is a professional, voluntary bar association for attorneys and the legal community in the borough. The group hosts events including annual awards, an annual dinner, judiciary night, the annual Theodore T. Jones, Jr., Golf Outing, CLE, and fundraisers.
