All of New York City is on the edge of glory as the Knicks play Game 5 of the NBA Finals in San Antonio against the Spurs tonight, needing just one more win to clinch the team’s first NBA Championship in 53 years.

The Knicks’ stunning 29-point comeback victory in Game 4 further electrified a city that has been at a fever pitch throughout the team’s incredible playoff run in pursuit of that long-elusive title. As millions tune in from bars, restaurants and homes, the Knicks will be hosting watch parties at three different locations Saturday night in Manhattan.

One of the three parties will take place at Plaza33 outside Madison Square Garden. A maximum of 3,000 ticketed fans will be permitted entry to the party, which will be located within an NYPD “frozen zone” set up to discourage disorderly behavior.

The most recent Plaza33 watch party for Game 4 was canceled just hours before the contest amid a dispute between MSG management and City Hall over capacity; the Mamdani administration and the NYPD sought to limit the size to just 1,000 ticketed guests due to the previous outbursts of violent behavior, some of which resulted in injured officers.

Guests attending tonight’s Plaza33 watch party must, in addition to obtaining tickets, clear security screenings and be in place by no later than 8:30 p.m., the scheduled tipoff of Game 5.

Wollman Rink at Central Park will also hold a free ticketed watch party in the outdoors, and MSG will welcome fans to an indoor watch party at Radio City Music Hall. Tickets for the Radio City party are $10 a pop, with all proceeds benefiting the Garden of Dreams Foundation.

All three watch parties will feature appearances from Knicks alumni, contests, photo opportunities, and more, according to MSG. For more information on tickets, visit nba.com/knicks/playoffs/blockparty#summerstage.

If you’re watching from home, the game will be televised on ABC7 and streamed on ESPN and YouTube.
